A familiar workday?

9 AM: fine.
3 PM: rubbing your eyes.
5 PM: glasses off.

Seeing clearly does not always mean seeing comfortably.

THE BIGGER CHANGE MAY NOT BE YOUR PRESCRIPTION

Your eye power may
not have changed much.
But your workload has.

Computer at work. Phone between tasks.
Online meetings. Reports. Messages.
Multiple screens. And sometimes more
screen time again after work.

Your visual demands may have increased significantly. In simple terms, your eyes may now be doing much more work than they used to.

?

Sometimes the question isn't only
“Has my power changed?”
It is also “Can my eyes comfortably keep up with the way I work every day?”

Does this sound familiar?

Do your eyes start complaining before your workday is over?

9 AM
Eyes feel okay

You start the day comfortably.

12 PM
Starting to feel tired

Focus feels less effortless.

3 PM
Rubbing or pinching

Tension around the eyes or forehead.

5 PM
Headache or glasses off

You just want your eyes to rest.

Seeing clearly doesn't always mean seeing comfortably. Similar symptoms can have different causes, so changing power alone is not always the first answer.

More than a power check

We're not only checking how clearly you can see.

We look at how your eyes are actually working — especially when they need to keep up with prolonged computer and near work.

01

Your eye power

Is your current prescription suitable for your eyes and everyday needs?

02

Your current glasses

Are the glasses you wear now supporting the way you use your eyes today?

03

Your focusing ability

Can your eyes maintain comfortable focus during prolonged near work?

04

Your convergence

Can both eyes turn in and maintain near focus efficiently?

05

How both eyes work together

Are your two eyes coordinating comfortably as a team?

?
THE REAL QUESTION

How well are your eyes coping with your actual working day?

The individual tests matter — but what matters more is how they fit together with your real screen workload and daily visual demands.

The tests may look simple. What they tell us isn't. They help us understand whether your eyes are coping with your daily visual demands.
Our approach

Assessment first.
Recommendation second.

We don't start by asking which lens you want. We start by understanding your eyes.

Two people can both work eight hours in front of a computer and still have completely different visual needs.

We care more about your eyes. Our recommendations are tailored to how you actually use them every day.

Meet your optometrist

Hi, I'm Candice.

I believe an eye examination should go beyond asking, “Can you see clearly?”

When someone tells me their eyes feel tired, strained or uncomfortable after hours of computer work, I want to understand how their eyes are actually coping with their daily visual demands.

That's why we look at more than eye power — including how your eyes focus, converge and work together — before deciding what may suit you.

Assessment first. Recommendation second.
A REAL EYEVENTURE CASE
28-year-old • Heavy computer user

His power kept changing slightly.
But his workload had changed much more.

Visit 1

Dizziness + slight power change

A 28-year-old customer came in experiencing dizziness. His prescription had changed slightly, so his glasses were updated.

2
About 6 months later

The same problem returned

He came back with similar dizziness. Again, the prescription change was small.

3
Meanwhile

His computer workload had doubled — then tripled.

This was the bigger change happening in the background.

4
Digital lenses discussed

He wasn't ready yet

We discussed a digital lens option based on his needs, but he decided not to proceed at that time.

5
About 6 months later

He came back and decided to try

He eventually proceeded with the recommended digital lenses.

6
About 1.5 years later

More comfortable. No same dizziness.

His prescription has remained stable, he no longer experiences the same dizziness, and he came back to tell us how comfortable the glasses felt.

THE TAKEAWAY
His eyes hadn't suddenly changed.
His workload had.

Individual experiences vary. Assessment and recommendations are based on each person's findings and visual needs.

What happens next?

Frequently asked questions

Questions you may have before booking

How do I know whether I really have digital eye strain?

Tired eyes, headaches, forehead tension, difficulty focusing and discomfort after prolonged screen use can happen when your eyes are struggling with your current workload. Similar symptoms can have different causes, so an assessment helps us understand what is actually contributing to the discomfort.

Will the recommended treatment actually work?

There is no single treatment that works for every person. That is why we assess your eye power, current glasses, focusing ability and how both eyes work together before recommending a management plan tailored to your findings and daily visual demands.

Do I have to make new glasses after the assessment?

No. The purpose of the assessment is first to understand your eyes and symptoms. We explain our findings and recommendations before you decide what you would like to do next.

Is it expensive?

Come for the assessment first. If something may benefit from further management or a different lens solution, we will explain the available options and costs before you make any decision.

How long does the Digital Eye Assessment take?

Around 30 minutes. In about half an hour, we can check your eye power, assess your current glasses, and look at how well your eyes focus, converge and work together, with time to explain the findings.

Digital Eye Assessment

Your eyes still have hours of work left.
Can they keep up?

If tired eyes, forehead tension, dizziness or headaches have become part of your normal workday, do not just keep tolerating them. Find out what may be contributing to the discomfort.
